Your taxi between Longueuil and the airport

From Longueuil, expect 45.4 km and about 43 minutes to Montréal-Trudeau. Two routes are comparable: Highway 20 then the Samuel-De Champlain bridge and Highway 15 to Turcot, or the Jacques-Cartier bridge followed by Highway 720 and the same interchange. The choice is made at departure, based on how both crossings are moving.

The mileage is higher than from Brossard because the river access sits further east. In the morning the Jacques-Cartier slows from 6:30, and the Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine bridge-tunnel is no help when you are heading west. The Victoria bridge, with its reversible lanes, is a fallback only. From Saint-Hubert, add ten minutes to work back up Route 116 or Boulevard Taschereau.

Longueuil has three boroughs and we serve all three: Vieux-Longueuil, Saint-Hubert and Greenfield Park. Day to day that means the streets around Chemin de Chambly and Boulevard Roland-Therrien, the Laflèche sector, the area near Hôpital Pierre-Boucher, Cégep Édouard-Montpetit and the Longueuil bus terminus, plus Parc Michel-Chartrand and the addresses along Route 116. Pickups in the older streets near the river are routine too.

Frequently asked questions about taxis from Longueuil

1Do you use the Jacques-Cartier bridge or the Samuel-De Champlain?
Both, depending on the hour. Before 6:30 a.m. and after 8 p.m., the Jacques-Cartier with Highway 720 is the most direct. During the morning peak, Highway 20 and the Samuel-De Champlain hold up better. The driver checks both before leaving your street.
2Do you also handle transfers to Saint-Hubert airport?
Yes. Montréal Saint-Hubert airport is inside Longueuil, so the trip is measured in minutes rather than tens of kilometres. As with Trudeau, the fare is metered. Give us your check-in time when you call, since the access road and the drop-off there are different.
3Can you pick me up at the Longueuil terminus or outside the metro?
Yes, the drop-off at the Longueuil–Université-de-Sherbrooke terminus is usable, but buses have priority there. We prefer a fixed waiting point: an address on Place Charles-Le Moyne or Boulevard La Fayette, a short walk from the metro exit.
4I am coming home with four suitcases and a stroller. What vehicle?
A van. The supplement starts at $20 and is added to the metered fare. Tell us the number of bags when booking: from the airport to Vieux-Longueuil or Greenfield Park, a standard car will not take more than three large suitcases.
